I don't know if any of you remember a post I wrote about a week ago saying how I've been having heartburn, pregnancy dreams, etc... Well here is the update the crimson tide has rolled in along with some p.m.s. And I'm going to be honest part of me was kind of sad. I do think we should wait until C. Monkey is at least 2, but there is a part of me that would love to have another one now. My sister (Ashly) thinks I'm crazy and calls me a mother hen, but its all good and totally harmless. Now for my mom and mil, that's another story. They would definitely think I'm crazy for wanting another one because to them kids are very expensive and isn't two enough. But after the shock they would be happy and fall in love with the new baby. So as of now we are not going to try and I'm going to try and wait and not drive David crazy until C. Monkey is 2.
Now onto what my little Chunky Monkey did yesterday. After feeding him lunch I gave him some cheese crackers to snack on while I was pouring him a drink. Wouldn't you know as soon as I turn my back this little monkey has shoved all the little crackers in his mouth. He looked like a squirrel storing food in his cheeks, and then wouldn't you know he starts gagging by all of the food in his mouth. So here I come to stick my finger in mouth when he spits the crackers out everywhere, but here I am drink in hand to help him out. Sometimes I wonder about that boy, he acts like he's never going to eat again-it's crazy.
Ahh and now onto my Sweet Pea.This is exactly how she was acting last night. We are having a revival at our church this week and the guy and his wife are awesome and I love listening to them. They are from Australia and came to our church last year and have come again. Anyways I didn't want to miss it so the kids and I headed on up to church and then when David got off he was going to come and pick them up and take them home. Well as soon as he went in to her classroom she tells him to go back into church because she was not ready to leave yet. You can imagine the look on David's face, the teacher then tries to persuade her to leave and that she can take her paints with her. She was bound and determined to not go easily, she then grabs onto the table while he's trying to get her out and she's screaming "no, I don't want to go, I'm not ready to leave." I'm laughing right now thinking about it because well it wasn't me she wasn't doing this to. Anyway they come and get me from church and when I go to the foyer there she is standing there arms crossed, I ask what's the problem and she looks at me and says nothing. I guess she figured if they had to come and get me and there is Daddy standing there she better straighten up.
After all of this Ashly would say are you sure you really want a third one to chase around and deal with the little attitudes-imagine it times 3. My answer will be yes because not everyday will always be like that. As for today it has been a great morning, I was actually able to sleep in till 8, and my little guy didn't wake up until about 8:30-very unusual. So I was able to make pancakes this morning-totally interrupted. And since I had one to many pancakes this morning I plan on getting my butt on that bike today. Oh and I almost forgot I just bought my tickets to go see Pirates of The Caribbean: At Worlds End. It's tomorrow night at 11:35 p.m. I'm so excited and I'll tell y'all if it's as good as the hype it's getting.
