How are my peeps.

Hello everyone-have you missed me because I have really missed y'all.  Ok so on to some really good news I weighed myself this morning and I weighed 160.7 :)  Can you believe it, I know I can't because I since school has started back up I haven't been exercising but I have been watching what I eat.  Incase you're wondering last month I was 166 and a few weeks ago I was 163 so now I've lost a total of 6 lbs.  WoooHooo-go me.  Can you tell I'm happy.

Now on to my weekend David and I didn't really do a whole lot but the one thing we did do was go and see the new Halloween movie.  First off I'm not a big fan of Rob Zombie but I have to say that out of all three of his movies I liked this one the best.  It wasn't as good as the original but it wasn't to bad.  However, my biggest complaint was seeing parents bringing their little kids to this movie.  And wouldn't you know there was a couple sitting next to us with their 5 month old baby and their 3 year old son-that's right their three yr. old son but that's not all there were other kids around 6 or 7.  I honestly don't know what was going thru these parents minds other than the fact that they didn't have a babysitter but I'm sorry this is not the kind of movie appropriate for kids.  There was bad language throughout the movie but the beginning of it was really bad, very bloody and gory (go figure), and lets not forget boobs and the p&*n mag they showed.  So no I don't think this movie was at all appropriate for young kids.

Ok off my soapbox, as for today Sweet Pea has ballet today and it's the first day at a new dance school so hopefully all will go well.  And then afterwards I'm going to pick me out some new glasses.  Not sure what I want but I want something with a little flair-personality.  Alright well y'all have a great day and hopefully I'll talk to y'all tomorrow.

I don't get that at all!!!! The movie was rated R and it's CLEARLY a horror movie! Who the hell brings kids that young!

Sorry, didn't mean to shove you off the soap box, but I'm horrified too!!!! :)

And glad you're back! I have missed you! And congrats on the 6 lb loss! That's awesome! Go lift a six-pound weight and you'll feel exactly how much you've lost! And then you'll be proud of yourself all over again!

Congrats on the weight loss!! And I have never understood what parents are thinking....I've seen kids in movies (not this one, but not appropriate) and really wondered....

Some people are idiots! Why would you bring a kid to that movie?

I'm with you on the kids in movies thing. My 4 year old watches Dora and Diego and that's cool by me. No need to show them that stuff too early.

Good job on the loss! Sounds like it was a nice surprise!

Oh I hate when people bring their young children into movies like that one that are just totally inappropriate. If I can't find a sitter, my 4 year old does not need to see a Rob Zombie flick! I'll watch it on DVD when it comes out then! JMO of course.

Congrats on the weight loss! Hope you found some glasses you like and school is going well for you!
