Favorite Baby Items

"If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball."

What was your favorite baby item that you could not live without?

I remember how much fun but exhausting it was making sure we had everything we needed before Sweet Pea was born.  I mean the list of what babies need can be overwhelming, however, I had so much fun shopping for each of them that it was well worth it.  What can I say I loooove to shop, and really what girl doesn't.  Now for my list:

Boudreaux Butt Paste- This stuff is just awesome and if you've never tried it then you really should.  I mean this stuff will clear a diaper rash in no time.

Boppy Pillow-Even though I had trouble breastfeeding this pillow was still very useful.  It helped with them sitting up, laying on their stomachs and of course feedings.

Since I wasn't able to breastfeed I found these bottles to be the best and I used them for both of my kiddos-loved them.

Ahh yes who can forget the binkies.  For me they were a godsend and I feel for the moms whose babies won't take them.  Sweet Pea loved her binky so much I thought we would never break her from it but luckily we did-I think she was 18 months.  As for Chunky Monkey he liked it every once in awhile and by 7 months we quit giving it to him all together because he didn't need it anymore.

I loved this thing-Evenflo Exersaucer.  This is the exact same one I used with my Monkey but not with SP.  However, they both really loved this toy and so did I because it allowed me to clean and not worry about them getting into anything.

Ok there you go those are some of the things that I really loved and helped me out with each of my kids.  Let me know about some of the items that you couldn't live without I'm always interested.

I love the Butt Paste too! The bouncy seat got tons of use in our house too - both of my girls loved being in one.

For sure I love those bottles and the saucer.. We couldn't do without the saucer!! I've never tried butt paste, I use A&D ointment, and it's pretty awesome. The only other thing I can't do without is Baby Magic lotion.. Mmmmm.. That's how babies should smell!

I couldn't use the exercauser, but there were days I wished I could! lol

Oh, and the quote is awful obvious today! It's from Dodgeball, of course! :)

Oh the Boppy! Anyone who knows me knows how obsessed I am with that thing! I was still giving Little Man bottles using it when he was 11 months old! And on the plane, there's no other way to travel with a baby then with a Boppy around your waste.

Heck, we still use our Boppy as a neck pillow on the couch now! LOL! I don't think we'll ever get rid of ours.

The other thing I couldn't have lived without is Little Man's bouncy seat. He wouldn't stay in it for an eternity, but just long enough for me to get a few bites to eat or at least begin taking a shower!

I have the exact same exersaucer too! :) That was a good thing to have as well!

Loved the boppy! I thought about adding it to my list. My youngest still has an attachement to the binky. I can't add it to my list because it's now become my enemy :)

Crap! Catwoman beat me to the quote. It was easy today though Jesse. You're going to need to challenge us a little more...lol!
When I found out that I was preggers with Em, I tried to break Caroline from her pacifier, which is a buppy in our house, but when Em was born Caroline saw her with her buppy and kept taking it out of her mouth to use it for herself so we had to give hers back.
We finally got rid of the buppies when Caroline was two and Em was 14 mos. We left them on the table for the Easter Bunny and he left them a special basket for them.
The funny thing was that I was dreading what was coming when they gave them up but the night before Easter they popped them out and put them on the table and never asked for them again.
Go figure.

Julie-I'm glad someone else knew about the butt paste because w/my first I would get some crazy looks because of the name.

Burg-I love all baby lotions because it makes them smell perfect. (Sigh)if only they could always smell that sweet.

Jann-How come you couldn't use the saucer?

Catwoman-You're too funny about your "obsessions" case in point Target. But hey I love, love, love that place too. And our boppy is still lying around the house.

Chupiandjsmama-Thanks for visiting my blog! I know exactly what you mean by the binky being the enemy. At first I loved it but by the end I didn't.

Tracy-Ok be careful what you wish for because tomorrow's quote may have to make y'all think-lol. I know it was easy but my brain didn't feel like choosing a hard one.

Just this morning I packed away that very exercauser! As much as I love it, having two taking up space in my house has become very unappealing. I did leave one up for the times I need to keep a baby occupied while I make lunch.
Butt Paste is great stuff! Both my daycare babies use it. I'm partial to Burt's Bees myself, but BP works really well.

For the commenter who said the pacifier has become the enemy: Take a scissors and cut a hole in the end of the rubber part. My son lost interest in it IMMEDIATELY when he couldn't suck on it anymore. It was perfect for the pacifier to be the "bad guy" instead of mean mommy denying him his paci.

I love buttcream, I discoverd when my son was about 9 months old. He also had an exersauser. He loved it! I forgot so many things on my list.

Bean was the only one of my 3 kids who used a Binkie. And she just stopped around 7 months. LOL. I was heartbroken 'cause I totally wanted her to use it 'till she was 3 just 'cause she was my baby!

I forgot about the exersaucer! Kayla loved hers as well..especially "spinning" around in the seat to play with all the things on it!
