Working Out
And now I'm at the start of another week and I'm going to keep going to the gym at least 3 times a week even if I don't want to and feel lazy I will go 3 times no matter what. Hope y'all have had a good weekend.

Need A Little Boost
Mon-Bodypump
Tues-15 min. jog (it was all I could fit in but hey I was sweating)
Then wouldn't you know I pigged out on Mexican food-ugh. As for today I don't feel motivated to do anything. I went to bed around 10 p.m. and that's early for me woke up before the kids at 7:45 a.m. and for some reason I just feel lazy today. I was doing some lectures online but don't feel like it which is why I'm blogging but I've seriously got to workout at some point today. I guess after nap time when I take the kids outside I'll just exercise instead of reading a textbook.

Is it safe?!?
Now on to something pleasant-yesterday I was finally able to go and workout. I took a bodypump class and today I'm not very sore but feel great. *Note to self-add a little more weight next class* Oh and you guys won't believe this but I got up at 6:45 to get ready and be there at 7:30 a.m. for the class. What got into me I don't know but I just felt the need to go workout. And keep your fingers crossed but hopefully Monday I'll be able to meet with Megan since we've only met once and I'm ready to get in shape-kick butt and take names.
So now that everything is somewhat back to normal I'm going to catch up on some blogs because I really miss y'all.

Can't Get Lazy

I'm Bringing Sexy Back
Anyways today was my first session and holy freaking crap am I out of shape but damn did I feel good afterwards. Everything today was all a cardio workout but without spending 30 min on a bike or treadmill. The only weight I used was a 6lb medicine ball. So not only was I getting my heart rate up and sweating like mad but I was working out my whole body. Oh I forgot to tell you the goal we set: 10 weeks, 20 lbs, with me doing cardio 3-4 days a week and weight training 2-3 times. Now I'm not meeting her that many because well I can't afford all that but the next few times I meet her she'll show what to do and how to change it up and then I can always look at the paper if I forget. Oh and yes I have to change the way I eat, but I refuse to cut out soda-I have to take baby steps. So today we went grocery shopping and man eating healthy sure is expensive but hey I want to be down to 142 (yes I did gain back a couple of pounds).
Don't worry I plan to make a point of being on here more because there is so much I want to say or vent and I miss y'all a lot; plus I plan on y'all asking me if I'm working out and getting on to me if I don't. Ok gotta go but I'll be back tomorrow to tell y'all how Sweet Pea's first soccer game went-another thing I didn't tell y'all. I will another day or else I'll seem like I'm rambling. :)

How are my peeps.
Now on to my weekend David and I didn't really do a whole lot but the one thing we did do was go and see the new Halloween movie. First off I'm not a big fan of Rob Zombie but I have to say that out of all three of his movies I liked this one the best. It wasn't as good as the original but it wasn't to bad. However, my biggest complaint was seeing parents bringing their little kids to this movie. And wouldn't you know there was a couple sitting next to us with their 5 month old baby and their 3 year old son-that's right their three yr. old son but that's not all there were other kids around 6 or 7. I honestly don't know what was going thru these parents minds other than the fact that they didn't have a babysitter but I'm sorry this is not the kind of movie appropriate for kids. There was bad language throughout the movie but the beginning of it was really bad, very bloody and gory (go figure), and lets not forget boobs and the p&*n mag they showed. So no I don't think this movie was at all appropriate for young kids.
Ok off my soapbox, as for today Sweet Pea has ballet today and it's the first day at a new dance school so hopefully all will go well. And then afterwards I'm going to pick me out some new glasses. Not sure what I want but I want something with a little flair-personality. Alright well y'all have a great day and hopefully I'll talk to y'all tomorrow.

Aug. 3-12
Well I know I've been gone for awhile but I've finally decided to really dedicate myself to losing weight. I'm not on a diet, however, I'm watching how much I put on my plate-so basically I'm not stuffing myself silly. I've switched from Coke to Diet Coke-I'm not ready to give that up and I've started exercising pretty much every day. Last month I weighed 166 and this morning I weigh 163 lbs!! I'm so excited oh and I've also been drinking a lot more water and yesterday was the first day I drank 8 glasses of water.
Aug 3-walk 1 3/4 mi
Aug 4-bike 25 min 5 mi
Aug 6-bike 20 min 4 mi
Aug 7-bike 30 min 5.5 mi
Aug 10-bike 20 min 4.83 mi
Aug 11-bike 30 min 5.5 mi
Aug 12-bike 30 min 6.83 mi

Week 6: June 11-17
"It rubs the lotion on its skin. It does this whenever it is told."
“Hey, man, how did it go in there? …I missed. He heh… what does that mean? I missed! Oh, hell, no!”-Daddy Day Care
Once again my weight has stayed the same-166 lbs. I'm glad it hasn't increased but I do wish it would go down some. However, this past week I worked not once but twice-yeah go me! LOL! I rode the bike twice last week and I even did crunches, oh yeah and I did some stretching. I didn't work out yesterday but I plan on doing it some time today. I'm also trying to get Mimi (mil) to work out with me that way I'll stay motivated and she's been talking about doing it too.
As for Ashly well she's kicking butt, she's exercising at least 3 days a week and has really cut back on what she eats-way to go Ashly! What's funny is she has never been a person who worked out or even played any sports growing up. Now there's me, I was the one who played sports and worked out all the time. And now I can't even really motivate myself-IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY! I know I complain about my motivation every week and I'm sorry it's just aggravating. I'll do good for a couple of days and then the next day I won't feel like it. Ok hopefully everyone else is doing well. :)

Week 5: June 4-10
"And Shepherds we shall be For thee, my Lord, for thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomeni Patri Et Fili
[Guns Cock] Spiritus Sancti."
"What say we settle this on the runway... Han-Solo? Are you challenging me to a walk-off... Boo-Lander?"-Zoolander
Now on to the weight that I didn't loose this week-again! But the good thing is that I didn't gain any either so I stayed the same. The funny thing is I've been telling Ashly how I've been trying to workout and I'll usually do it at least one day a week. Well her and her friend have been working out at least 3 times a week and she's watching what she eats-that's the motivation I need. Hopefully everyone else is keeping strong.

Week 3: May 21-27
"Why do you like them so much? Because they stand upon a wall and say, "Nothing's going to hurt you tonight, not on my watch."- A Few Good Men
Ok so last week I weighed 166 lbs and today I weigh 163.6-I've lost 2.4 lbs. I can't believe it, and I'm not even sure how I lost that much. Considering I only rode the bike once last week-I know bad Jesse, but hey I'm trying.
Last week I was asked about women gaining muscle mass. Here is what I know *I'm no expert*
You can gain muscle by weight training and no women will not look like men by lifting weights. As for losing fat you have to do some type of aerobic exercise. A good way to tell how much you're losing is not by what the scales says although it does make me happy; it's checking how much you've lost in inches. Which is something I have yet to do, so since I'm writing about it I will write down my measurements sometime today.
I'm also sure many of you know the benefits to exercising-again I'm saying this for my benefit since I know the pros and have yet to really motivate myself.
Increased energy
Better self-esteem
Reduced chance of a heart attack
Reduced chance of osteoporosis
Reduced chance of breast cancer
Increased strength and stamina
Less depression
I have a really good book called "The Body Sculpting Bible for Women." It has a lot of useful exercises for people who can not go to a gym. Again I have a gym membership that I don't use and David will be so kind to remind me about it from time-to-time. But if you have any type of workout videos those can be very helpful. I don't know if I cleared up any questions but if you have any more or would like some exercises just give me a holler. Have a great day and keep up the good work ladies. :)

Week 2: May 14-20
Well this week wasn't as good as last week since I gained 1lb. Actually I'm glad I didn't gain more than that because I kind of pigged out on fast food, but I did manage to ride a stationary bike twice this week. On Wed. I rode it for 15 min., and then Fri. for 35 min. Go Me! So this week I really need to get on the ball and stay away from greasy fast food and get my butt on that bike more than twice a week. Hopefully everyone else is doing great.

Week 1
Well I stepped on the scale this morning and I can't believe it I've lost 2 lbs.-yay!! And I really can't believe it because I only worked out one day last week-I know, I know, shame on me. But I'll tell you what I did do:
- I didn't super-size my meal if I ate fast food
- I drank no more than 2 cokes a day and that's good since I was drinking at least three.
- I ate only three meals a day.
- I ate dinner around 7 and if I was hungry later I wouldn't eat any dessert-which by the way has been super hard since I have two packages of carmel popcorn left.
- I've been drinking more water, but still no where near 8 glasses a day.
So that's what I've been doing but seriously folks I've got to workout this week-no excuses.
